It's cold outside, i'ts like darkness overtook the world and some people get depressed.
Well, this is one way to look to the month december, but there is another much happier way.
And this is: party! December is full of parties: sinterklaas (this is a party in holland), christmas and of course new year's eve. Let's talk about a few things that are so great from December:
1. You have an excuse to buy a whole new garderobe.
Because, you really must have:
- A new lovely dress for christmas. Maybe even two. I mean, there are two christmas days and let's be real: you can't be seen two times in the same dress. That is not done.
- The weather sucks, i'ts really cold so you need a lot of warm clothes. Tell your mom you have to wear two layers so you really must have two of that amasing t-shirt! (If you can look really sweet, maybe your mum will fall for this).
- Your winter shoes are so last year, and the fashion has been so changed that you really need a new pair.
2. You can finally find a true love. Or just a new boyfriend. This are some ways:
- Ask that cutie from school if he can bring you to prom, because you have no transport. Maybe you can give him a kiss for his ride.
- On all the parties that you're invited to, you can check out all the guys. If it's christmas, just find out where the misletoe is and drag him to there. And on celebrating new year you just hang around him till counting down starts: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1: Hey you, let me wish you a happy new year (whit kisses, of course).
3. On the holidays you have a lot of time for your friends. Some nice things you can do:
- Buy chocolate, sweets and call all your girlfriends. Download or buy all the episodes from your favourite tv-serie, go to the girlfriend's house with the biggest television and watch all day. Some recommendings: The Holiday, A boyfriend for christmas, Love Actually, Gossip Girl )
- Organise a dinner for you and your friends. You can ask your friends to bring a date. If you're a good cook, show off all your talents. If cooking is not you're thing, ask your friends to bring some tasty food.
Let every friend buy a present for another.
